With the current state of affairs, it is good to refresh your mind with the things that truly matter: Faith, Freedom, Love, Liberty… Lucky for us, we have a holiday just for those things two days away!

Today I wanted to share this recitation by Charlie Daniels, of a story Red Skelton shared on his show January 14, 1969. The story is of the meaning of the Pledge of Allegiance, and well worth a listen:
